Who Are They

Wavey rags is a company that provides bespoke durags. The name ‘Wavey Rags’ is a double entendre, playing on 2 variations of the term ‘Wavy’. The 1st being "Wavy", relating to the waves in afro hair. Durags are commonly used in maintaining these waves. Then the 2nd being the slang term "Wavey", which is associated with a positive and fun vibe.

The Brief

For the next step for Wavey Rags, they needed a full brand design. This consisted of the logo, packaging assets and social media templates. The idea was to encapsulate the concept of waves and the fun and dynamic characteristics of the company. 

The Outcome

Upon the launch of the re-brand, the client has reached a larger target audience, with a brand and packaging style that is eye-catching among the main competitors. They have recently opened up a distribution line, and partnered with overseas shipping companies to widen their reach.
